Tour of the design lab......

Wendy is kind enough to take more time out of her day and give us a tour of the new design lab. Please be at the Clark building at 3:30. Please let me know if you are able to make it. It's on the third floor now. Won't it be fun to see?

Okay, so I said that you can call or e-mail me to let me know if you're in, but you can also tell us here in the comments if you are or, sadly, are not coming to our amazing shin-dig.

Catering?

Catering??

JoAnn asked if I was going to have this party catered. The answer to that is that is "I would love to". I'm getting pricing on it as we speak. However; if I have to pay for it all it might look something like the picture above. If I could get some help I could cater some and do a little somethin' somethin' myself to make a pretty nice dinner. We did discuss sending in $30 before the party, so that I wouldn't have to cover all of the expenses. If you all could do that ASAP it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't afford $30, anything you could afford would totally help. If I don't get enough money I'll figure something else out. I hope that's not tacky to ask.

I've thought a lot about this, and it's so much easier on everyone, I think, to just come and enjoy the evening instead of worrying about bringing something. If it's okay with everyone I would rather the professors not have to pay the $30. Just have them come and enjoy, where we've all decided to do this and then sprung it on them. Besides, after what we put them through, I think we owe them at least a dinner. :) I'll be surprised if they dare venture to even be around us crazies again.

I'll send an e-mail out to everyone to introduce the blog and to ask for payment. The sooner the better... Thanks girls!

INTERIOR DESIGN REUNION!!

Okay...So, I'm posting directions, there's not a great map online because their sub-division is only like three years old. These are the directions coming from the South. Anyone that needs more detailed directions, please don't be afraid to ask, please e-mail me though.

• Head North on Highway 20 towards "Party Town".
• Take the first "Party Town" Exit and travel North into
• Turn right at the first set of signal lights
• Head East 4 miles on Highway 48
• After crossing the intersection of Hwy 48 and 4400 E, start slowing down
• River Bend Estates is located approximately 1/4 mile past 4400 E on the North side of the road

THEN...

* Go straight into the subdivision and turn left at the T. Not before. Go around the circle.. you'll see a new home being built. My parents home is right after that, on the left.

I know that these are kinda crazy directions, but there's not many homes in their subdivision and there's not many numbers to go by. Sorry. I'll get better instructions before the party and let everyone know. I'll also try to find a current map.
